Audio Light Systems has recently completed the AV and lighting installation as part of a complete renovation of the Victoria and Albert Museum's Lydia and Manfred Gorvy Lecture Theatre.
The video installation comprised a Kramer VP-725xl presentation scaler, fed by a local vga plug in point in the control room, along with a Kramer TP-121/TP-122 vga cat5 Tx/Rx allowing a laptop to be plugged into the cat5 network and a Yamaha blu-ray player. The scaled output is routed to a Christie Digital DHD-670-E high definition projector, projecting onto a 7m electric screen.

Lighting & audio were required to complete the rain forest atmosphere in the new Edinburgh Zoo Wild Bus.
The new addition to Edinburgh Zoo will be travelling around Scotland showing different aspects of Edinburgh zoo to Schools and organizations up and down the country. Coloured LED lighting and background jungle sounds combine with impressive internal artwork to give the sensation of being deep in the rain forest.

Audio Light Systems have been working with Edinburgh Zoo for years developing the PA systems, require to do the “education talks”. The systems allow the education staff and zoo keepers to move around the animal enclosures with their radio microphones, giving the talks, which is part of the zoo experience. A few of the PA systems are in particularly remote locations and required to be self sufficient, so a solar power solution was provided, which also met with the zoo’s green policy.

Blair Drummond Safari Park were looking for PA systems to cover massive areas within the park. These were to give talks about the wildlife and also to announce events and park closing times. The solution was four separate systems located in buildings around the park, with high powered radio receivers so the person doing the talk could be over 100m away from the receivers.
Thousands of meters of cable were laid around the park to feed the outdoor speakers along walkways and around enclosures.
