Heriot Watt - School of the Built Environment have recently renovated a room to provide seminar and video conferencing facilities. With a campus in Dubai, the SBE required a simple, cost effective but reliable solution. Audio Light Systems installed a Crestron MPC-M20 presentation controller mounted on a mobile lectern which holds the Kramer matrix, Apart amplifier, Toshiba DVD/VHS, Ampetronic loop amplifier, PC and the Polycom QDX6000 video conferencing codec. Audio Light Systems also installed a ceiling mounted NEC NP410EDU data projector. As well a controlling the signal routing to the projector and codec, the room volume and DVD/VHS functions, Audio Lights Systems interfaced a Crestron DIN-8SW8 mains relay switch to allow the Crestron controller can switch the front lights above the projection screen. Finally, the Crestron MPC-M20 has been interfaced with Crestron Roomview allowing the IT support department monitor the room and deal quickly with simple issues without the need to go to the room.

Audio Light Systems have been working in RCPE for over 5 years upgrading and servicing the technical infrastructure. The main auditorium is controlled using a Crestron control system, which allows the end user to manage the specialist systems via customized LCD touch panels. As an extremely busy venue, the highest quality equipment is required to ensure longevity and reliability.

Trust housing, established in 1973 was formed to assist people with their housing needs and provide
over 2,400 homes throughout Scotland. They employ over 350 staff working throughout Scotland. The Edinburgh
head office required audio visual and conference systems to assist with their in-house information
dissemination and training.
Audio Light Systems provided the TOA wireless conference system, which is a great solution when portability and a clean table-top is required. The microphones are placed around the large board room table to give volume and clarity during meetings. The audio visual system utilized projectors, screens & white boards to assist in the display of information.
