Only 30 minutes from the centre of Glasgow, the Waterfront Leisure Complex, includes a state of the
art fitness studio, swimming pool, ice rink & conference facilities. After being open to the public
for several years, the fire EVAC system needed servicing, renovation & renewal.
Audio Light Systems teamed up with Baldwin Boxall for this extensive fire EVAC (BS 5839) system refurbishment. The engineers found the original system requiring an update and started the arduous task of amending and replacing electronics and backup battery systems. Once the updates & renewals were completed, the system was commissioned & tested for its paging and EVAC functions and was running up to the original specification.

The Megalithic conference centre at the Radisson in Glasgow replaced their aging projectors with four NEC NP4000s. The AMX controlled venue caters for a wide variety of functions from boxing to conferences, so needed high quality, brightness and reliability. The NEC NP4000 projectors were an ideal solution with 5200 lumens, DLP technology and the standard 3 year hot-swap warranty. New system programming was required for the projector change-over, to allow continuous function control.

The owners of Smart City Hostel needed a back ground music system that would need very little attention. The answer was a Zest audio music system. The software runs off a standard PC and updates on a weekly basis. All that has to be done is to choose a genre of music. The audio is then piped through out the entire hotel, on various different zones to allow volume control for separate areas.

Amicus Apple required sound limiting in their upmarket Edinburgh city centre bar to deal with noise pollution travelling up through the building and out through the front. Acoustic consults were asked in to ascertain the acoustic properties of the space and produce a report. After some essential building work was carried out the findings were then passed to Audio Light Systems who installed a sound limiting system to give controlled limiting of the background & foreground music systems.

DG1 is Dumfries & Galloway's high profile entertainment and leisure complex is located in Dumfries town
centre. The multi million pound building is well used and well liked in the local area. The council were
looking to brighten up the entrance facade with bright moving image. After a consultation period it was
decided a rear projected image on the glass panels above the door would be the answer. Audio Light Systems
were employed to install the tricky twin projector system, due to their passed experience with unusual
installations.
