SHURE SM63LB
Elegant, yet rugged, the high output SM63 series dynamic omnidirectional microphones are designed for professional applications where performance and appearance are critical. Their smooth, wide frequency response is tailored for optimum speech intelligibility, and includes a controlled low-frequency rolloff for reduced pickup of stand and wind noise. A built-in humbucking coil makes the microphones virtually immune to strong hum fields, such as those produced by studio lighting.
The three models differ only in length and color. The champagne-finished SM63 is designed for hand-held use on stage and in broadcast, recording, and television studios. The champagne-finished SM63L and the black-finished SM63LB are ideal for remote interviews, sports broadcasts, and other situations where longer microphones are desirable.
All three models use a patented Shure shock mount system to minimize handling noise. They also include a VERA-FLEXTM grille that protects against damage from a drop of up to 2 meters (6 ft.), and is impervious to dents, rust, corrosion, and moisture. An integral pop filter effectively reduces breath noise. The SM63L and SM63LB include a two-stage windscreen accessory designed for outdoor use. All models are supplied with a stand adapter and zippered storage bag. Cables are available separately

SHURE VP64A
The VP64A and VP64AL are high-output omnidirectional handheld dynamic microphones designed for professional audio and video production. They combine exceptional performance and comfortable feel with a handsome on-camera appearance.
The VP64A and VP64AL are identical except for handle length. The 200 mm (7-7/8 inch) long VP64A is ideal for close-up use and can be used outside as well as indoors. The VP64AL is well-suited to location interviews, sports broadcasting, and other situations where the 244 mm (9-5/8 inch) length is an advantage.
The omnidirectional pickup pattern provides uniform pickup on or off axis, eliminating the need for critical microphone positioning. The VP64A series also features a tailored frequency response with an upper midrange presence rise that adds crispness and clarity to speech. The cartridge utilizes a neodymium magnet for higher output and increased signal-to-noise ratio.
An internal rubber isolation mount protects the microphone cartridge and minimizes handling noise. A water-resistant mesh grille allows the microphone to be used during the most challenging weather conditions. The supplied windscreen further reduces "pop" and wind noise.
FEATURES
Neodymium magnet for increased output and maximized signal-to-noise ratio
Tailored frequency response with mid-range presence rise for optimum speech clarity
Omnidirectional polar pattern eliminates need for critical microphone positioning
Internal isolation mount for low handling noise
Water-resistant mesh grille repels water under challenging weather conditions
Supplied windscreen for reduced pickup of pop and wind noise
Comfortable feel
Handsome appearance; ideal for on-camera applications
Legendary Shure ruggedness

SHURE SM89
The Model SM89 is a highly directional condenser shotgun microphone with distant pickup characteristics suitable for on-location film and television production. The SM89 can also be used for theater sound reinforcement, spot news coverage, or wildlife recording. The SM89 discriminates at a distance in favor of desired dialogue or effects and against ambient noise -- even in noisy surroundings.
The on-axis frequency response of the SM89 is very smooth and extended. For clarity and speech intelligibility, a slight presence rise optimizes the high-frequency response to compensate for high-frequency losses. A low-frequency roll-off minimizes pickup of wind, mechanical vibration, ambient noise, and rumble without affecting voice frequencies.
The off-axis response of the SM89 is virtually free of comb-filter effects. This is important when it is not possible to aim the microphone precisely or when it is desirable to pick up dialogue or sound from moving sources.
FEATURES
Designed especially for location film and TV production, theater sound reinforcement, and spot news coverage
Highly directional polar pattern optimized for distant pickup
Smooth, wide on-axis response
Greatly suppressed side pickup with minimum comb-filter effects
Two low-cut frequencies, switch selectable
Low impedance, high sensitivity
Extremely low hum, noise, and RF pickup
Uses readily available 11 to 52 Vdc phantom supply
Rugged and reliable, operates over wide range of temperature and humidity
Extremely lightweight, can be suspended on fishpole for long periods of time without operator fatigue
Aircraft-grade materials used throughout
Supplied with foam windscreen and strong luggage-grade carrying case |

SHURE VP88
The Shure Model VP88 is a single-point, stereo condenser microphone for use in professional studio recording, field production, electronic news gathering (ENG), and studio broadcasting applications. It combines two condenser cartridges in a single housing to create a stereo audio image of the sound source. It is unique in its ability to capture the realism of a live event and yet withstand rigorous field production environments.
The VP88 uses a mid-side (M-S) configuration. One microphone cartridge (Mid) faces forward to capture on-axis sound using a cardioid pickup pattern. The other microphone cartridge (Side) is bi-directional, capturing sound from either side. The VP88 contains an internal M-S matrix with three settings for different degrees of stereo image seperation. The internal matrix can be bypassed if an external matrix is used or if stereo imaging is done in post-production. Switches on the top of the microphone control output mode, stereo imaging, low-frequency rolloff settings, and battery on/off.
The VP88 can operate on phantom power or an internal 6 V battery. The VP88 is supplied with a multi-connector "Y-splitter" cable, foam windscreen, swivel stand adapter, 6-volt battery, and zippered carrying/storage bag. Optional accessories include an isolation mount, a 7.6 m (25 ft) microphone extension cable, a phantom power supply, and a 4.3 m (14 ft) microphone stand.
The optional A88SM Shock Mount provides optimum isolation from stand-transmitted shock and vibration. The A88SM is ideal for critical studio applications contains a standard mounting foot for use with most electronic news gathering (ENG) video cameras.
FEATURES
Time-coherent, Mid-Side (M-S) design for optimal stereo imaging
Built-in stereo matrix for direct control of the stereo spread; direct M-S outputs available
Mono compatibility ideal for broadcast applications
40 to 20,000 Hz frequency response
