The University of Stirling as part of a on-going project of expansion refurbished the lecture theatre in the newly renovated Pathfoot building. Audio Light Systems were asked to design the new technical infrastructure, to ensure the university got the best results from the space.
The lecture theatre which has seating for 210, is controlled via a Crestron control system. The system controls two projectors, routing, switching, DVD/VHS and the lighting. The lecturer controls the theatre via a Smart 17″ touch panel integrated into the control desk. This allows the lecturer to have complete control & ‘draw’ on their screen. A integrated visualiser also gives the opportunity to display real objects on the large screen.
